Champlain Sounding is an experiment in sound, image and word. The stories here are the product of a young journalist’s effort to explore connections between media and profile extraordinary people in the Champlain Valley.
Many of these stories profile people with unique interpretations of environmental issues. Others highlight people whose work enriches life here.
Angela Jane Evancie is a radio producer, writer and photographer based in Burlington, Vermont. She is working on this project with a Compton Mentor Fellowship and support from North Country Public Radio in Canton, New York.
